Life Skills Koinonia

Our philosophy is that one of the leading causes of youth homelessness is a lack of soft skills, life skills, and exposure to opportunities such as the world of Trades. Our program offers a fully WASC accredited high school through Placer County Office of Education, where teens can catch up on credits and excel in the school system, opening opportunities of higher education.

On top of that we provide ancillary programs to help bolster our teens skill set and reinforce their self confidence for when they enter the working world. These programs include:

  • Programming
  • Coding
  • 3D printing
  • CNC machining
  • Laser cutting technology
  • Video & music editing
  • Videography & photography
  • Fiscal literacy
  • Life skills
  • Culinary arts
  • Drama
  • Recovery art
  • Yoga
  • New World of Work soft-skill classes
