See how your donation will connect youth to the help they deserve.

Koinonia never sends youth away with a trash bag full of belongings. We ensure there is always a thorough transition, but want to go above and beyond so they are set up to be the greatest success possible.  Every donation helps a teen transfer to life in successful adulthood and combat homelessness.

$50 can help with groceries for the week, a monthly cell phone bill, and entertainment for the month. It can also buy bedding, school supplies, or a dish set. It can stock the cupboard with cleaning supplies, or buy toilet paper and paper towels.

$150 can get a semester’s worth of prescriptions, over-the-counter medicines, and a first-aid kit. It can assist with unexpected expenses, such as for computer repair, new bike or car tires, and school administrative fees. For those in apartments, this could cover an electricity bill.

$500 can get a college student one college credit (the average course is 3 credits). It can help buy big-ticket furniture items, such as a bed or a dresser. It can also cover transportation expenses for the semester, such as for a bus pass, a bike lock, gas, and registration.

$1,000 can purchase a young adult’s new laptop for college or work. It can also furnish an entire dorm room or apartment (on a budget!). It can purchase a course at a public university. For those renting a room, it can cover one month’s rent.
